Questions we get at the counter

A full driving licence held for at least 12 months, a second form of ID such as a passport, and the credit or debit card the booking was made on, in the main driver's name. Nothing else.

Yes. We pre-authorise $250 on daily and weekly rentals, or $400 on the executive and convertible groups. It is a hold rather than a charge, and it is released back to your card within three working days of return.

Any time, including mid-rental. It costs $6 a day on the daily rate and is free on weekly and monthly rates. They need to visit a branch once with their licence.

There is a 59-minute grace period on every rental. After that we charge one extra hour at a twelfth of the daily rate, up to a maximum of one extra day. Call us before you are late and we will usually just extend the booking.

Yes, between all 12 branches. It is $25 within the city, free on weekly and monthly rates, and $45 for a drop-off at City Airport Terminal 2 from a non-airport branch.

Cars are handed over full and should come back full. If it is easier to return it short, we refuel at pump price plus a $12 service fee, with no inflated per-litre rate. Electric cars come with a charge card and the first 200 kWh on us.
